Hello! My name is Kayla, and I am actually in school to be a personal trainer and nutritional specialist. I have two young boys, one is just 7 weeks old! I have lost 30lbs since July 25th, and am very proud of it!
I was just here to see what everyone thinks as far as healthy diets, and healthy weight loss. It seems so many people tend to be misguided as to what is truelly good for your body. I would love to help encourage people as they try to lose weight! I am personally training for the Komen 5K race at the end of October. I lost a significate amount of muscle mass over the past two years, just from being pregnant and unable to run. For me, and for most... it is not a number on a scale that should determine our sucess, but how we feel, our health, and how our clothes fit. Dont forget, muscle weighs more than fat. I guess I'll be gaining weight, as far as the scale is concerned... but losing fat.
Any helpful tips from other moms,... the schooling hasnt covered that yet!
