Hey, new guy

Hey, i live in Kent in the south east of england and i'm (hopefully) off to uni in the summer.

Basically, i'm just looking to tone up a bit, i'm 18 and i've always been very tall (about 6' 8 ish) but really thin as well and i guess i'm lucky because i used to just eat anything and i never put on any weight, however as i'm getting a bit older i've started noticing that it's catching up to me and so i feel like i should nip it in the bud now and basically just get into good shape.

I've never really been the sporty type so i am quite unfit and i've flirted with the idea of joining the gym with some of my mates from school but basically i can't afford it so i was hoping to get some tips on how i could bulk up a bit at home, i have access to some basic weights but that's it, i have no idea about any of the technical side so i don't know the names of the types of weights or muscle groups or anything like that really

looking forward to getting into shape :)
