Heeyy! I'm new here... Never used a forum of any kind in my life so bare with me if I am not doing it properly haha :).
Well basically here's my story.
Growing up I was always pretty average. Not
Fat but I of course thought I was. So I instead of taking the healthy route I took the whole "not eating" route and got skinny. Always thinking I wasn't skinny enough. I never was thAtt skinny but I sure looked a lot better then I do now anyways.... Then my boyfriend at the time noticed my unhealthy lifestyle and did something about it. Got me eating again. But he was skinny and could eat a whole buffet table and pretty much not gain weight but I would. So he's left me now. And here I am 196 lbs. Wishing to be back at my 130 lbs :(. And instead of going about this in my old unhealthy ways I'm gonna try doing this the right way.

Any one have tips or just want to talk I'm down for that and would appreciate anything. Hah :)
So
Hi everyone. :)

Hi DeKay!

I just registered on here too, so hopefully we can try and keep each other motivated!! :hurray:

Hey!
Awesome that'd be Great! Hah gosh it's so hard, specially when the weekend comes around!

Welcom DeKay!:seeya:

Since you've never been on a forum before, I'd recommend reading over the rules and such just to get an idea of what is and what isn't allowed.

Also be sure yo check out the diary section and even start your own. I find my diary helps to keep me in check. I think twice before eating something I shouldn't because then I have to post it for everyone to read! Plus, you'll get loads of support from other people here on the forums!

I'm glad to hear you're taking the healthy route this time. To lose weight and stay there you need to change your lifestyle. Healthy eating and exercise. If you simply don't eat, your body can enter what is called starvation mode, which inhibits weight loss because your body will be trying to hold onto as much fat as possible.

I suggest using the bmr calculator and finding out how many calories you burn everyday. Then decrease that by 500. Just doing that will help you burn 3500 calories/1lb per week. Then begin exercising. Start out slow and work your way up to more intense exercise.

Again, Welcome! If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask!
