Hey Everyone!

Heyy!

My name is Kristen, I'm a 19 year old female, 5'4", and currently weigh 179lbs.

I'm currently a 2nd year university student, studying Electrical Engineering, so I don't have a ton of free time, and my current lifestyle is a lot of studying, late nights, and eating quick meals on the go.

I've always had issues with my weight, and have always been heavier, but after coming to university, I have gained a lot of weight. When I started first year, I was around 145-150lbs, and now, at the end of second year, I'm nearly 180lbs.

This summer break, I would really like to lose weight and get in shape. (I tried this last summer, but a month in I broke my wrist, and was unable to go to the gym, or really do anything physical, as the cast really smelt bad if I sweat a lot :p )

I've calculated that between my last exam and September 1st (essentially the start the fall term) is 140 days. I guess my ideal weight would be around 135lbs, so I have 140 days to lose 45lbs.

I'm going to be working as a Monday-Friday 8-5 camp counsellor for 4 months, and may be taking an online summer course. I will have access to fitness classes and a full on campus gym, and hope to work out at least 5 times a week.

I've decided to make an account on this forum in an effort to get advice on how to safely lose the weight, any pro tips, and most importantly, how to keep it off.

So Hello, and for now at least, Goodbye!

Hi and welcome to the forum. Look around and read the stickies. There's a lot of information in them to help with losing weight.
Losing 45 lbs in 140 days is doable. Good luck.

Hello and welcome - I am new to the forum too and have found it really helpful to read the threads and start myself a diary. Here's hoping we lose the pounds and never find them! :)
