I'm Amie from Michigan (one of the top ten fattest state...lol) and am trying to lose weight. I am twenty and about 235lbs. I've been overweight my whole life and just getting sick of it! Since the beininning of January I have lost about 8lbs! And am totally excited to see the rest of it come off!

I have to explain my name and signature! Some friends of mine and I were joking about being chunky and someone piped up talking about us being chunky soup (it was hillarious at the time...we were 7 sleep-deprived girls in a van for five hours!). So we were joking saying that we were the chunky soup group and that we wanted to become condensed soup. Just had to share...now you probably think I'm crazy. ;)

So hey...I'm excited to get to know all of you guys and help encourage and be encouraged!

8 pounds is a great start! Keep up the work. And, yes that signature is very clever. I had a good laugh. I'll have to use that some time. lol

That has got to be the cutest nickname. love it! It's better than chunky-monkey, rolly-polly, fat-cat, chumba-wumba..... (names I have been called!) All in good fun! :p
I'm sure there are lots more but can not think of them now. Anyway, WELCOME! Good job on your recent loss! Keep it up Chunky Soup! ;)

hellloooo im from one of the top fattest cities lol the philadelphia area. my fat is due to pregnancy. i used to be a hot babe and then a big fat pregnant woman so i've been at both ends of the spectrum and know how it feels at both ends! and let me tell you it sucks the big one to be at the fat end hehe. lets see i used to be 110-120 most of my life which i think is pretty good for 5'5". then got preg and all hell broke loose. went to 210. then back to 150 then preg again so back to 210. now im down to 145-150. welcome and good luck at the forum!

was just thinking about sizes. from a dam size 5 to a HUGE 16 . well back to a 12 now and hope to be a 10 in the near future. :D
