Hey everyone

this time maybe 2-3 months ago i was around 190lbs, im i started going a couple of fast half our walks a day, reducing my food to a healthyoption sandwhich under 10g fat during the day, and what ever i got for dinner that night, which was never anything too bad...just basics like chicken or fish etc etc... all i drink now is water.

im now 160 - 161lbs.

i started losing weight pretty easy, it was like every week or even four days id go and weigh my self i'd be a good few pounds lighter.. it went like this. (in stone)

11.7 (which is my current weight)

just over a really short period, 3 months at the most...

i couldnt believe it, it seemed to easy, going well n all everyone telling me i looked better, i feel better too..

but for the last maybe two weeks ive been stuck at 11.7, ive been doing the same walking and eating the same food, why've i stopped? i reckon my ideal weight is probably around 10 stone.. im 5'9"...

I was thinking either its because i weigh less im burning not as much calories with the walks because its not as hard for my body to do?

Or im only doing sufficiant excersize for someone at 11.7?


any one know why it's stopped...? im not putting anything on, but not losing any more, i know its only been afew weeks but will i still lose weight even gradually? or am i only doing enough for a 11.7 person?
 
A plateau. eww... I just started a few weeks ago, I am soo not looking forward to that.

A good friend of my dad's says that best way to kill a plateau is a nice unhealthy dinner out. It gets the metabo out of it's rut and boosts the moral. This guy has lost quite a bit so I trust his opinion. Good Luck!! :D:D
 
You might try doing a little different workout. I read that your body gets used to something and you don't lose much after that. Like on your walk run for 1 min in intervals with walking. I've heard that will start you up again! good luck!

Im starting to eat Special K breakfast everymorning with low fat milk staring from today, i heard that it helps... ive been skipping breakfast and i heard that aint good, but surely if i start eating breakfast ill be eating more calories? how can this help me to lose weight?
 
wow i just weighed myselfs today and im 11.0 on the dot now ! :D


I panic'd for nothing.

Im a bit confused though, when i put a and pants back on im 11.7 again...

but just in shorts im 11.0

well ive always been weighing myself just in shorts and last time i was 11.7, so i am really losing weight, 11.0 is my real weight... but surely my clothes arent half a stone..?? :confused:
 
Wow, cool!! You should always weigh yourself in the same thing you were wearing before, or something similar. I don't know if pants could weigh that much though!
 
its my jacket it has tons of zips on the inside and pockets i never knew about.. :eek:

im under 11 stone thismorning... :confused: i look an ideal weight now..!:D
