I used to be skinny, I mean a RAIL! I was 5'5" and 108lbs soaking wet and I could eat McDonalds all day and not see any change. After high school (1997)I joined the Air Force. It was a sit-down satellite control job. I still got out. I did a lot of hiking and rock climbing. Toward the end of my enlistment all of my friends had gone and there was no more hiking and climbing and a lot more McDonalds and sitting around watching TV when I wasn't at work sitting around and watching a screen. I left the AF at 130lbs. This was actually about where I should have been though considering I was a walking skeleton before.
Well life outside the AF wasn't much different. I got into PC and internet tech support. Lotsa sitting around and looking at a PC. Four years after the AF I weigh in at 182lbs (mainly gut and love handles). I gained the extra 50lbs due to my current job and relative inactivity. I started the job (tech support) working 4pm to 1am and had my meal break at about 9:30pm. Currently I work 3pm to midnight and have lunch at 6:30. I'm still up untill about 2am though so to stop eating at 6:30 is insane but I know you're not supposed to eat toward the end of the day when you're not going to be active anymore. Problem is I have to stop being active at about 1:30 in the afternoon.
I just recently got a membership at the YMCA and go three times a week and (to start) do 15 minutes on the bike and 25 minutes on the treadmil (briskly walking of course with a minute of running here and there).
Am I on the right track? I've also started taking Lean System 7 with 7-Keto so with any luck that'll help. I'd like to get down to about 14 or 145 really.
Any thoughts?
