I know I asked you to post pics, and I apologize for not asking you to make a journal and posting these in there, I should have, sorry.

I think you may be better served of you make your own Training and Dieting journal (this would be your thread), and you could post your pics there, ask questions, develop your weight training and diet program, and post your training and diet on regular intervals at your convenience. In addition you could post your progress pics as well.

You can name it what ever you wish. Just put in the Mens journal section

And, I really dont have a set plan yet. i want to work on my abs and get them into shape.

I know I need to cut down the snacky stuff I eat, so I have started today with healthy alternatives. I will also be starting daily cardio and crunches.
 
Nice starting point. You'll prob hear lots of 'pooh poohs' about crunches. I think they're not necessary (in moderation, they're ok) but they won't bring your abs out.

if you intend on losing weight and doing cardio your not gonna see a 6 pack, your just going to get leaner and leaner.

You need to bulk and start weight training, gain muscle in the abs , then cut away the fat.
