Here we go again.

I've been a vegetarian (gradually becoming a vegan) for around six months now, which was a decision entangled more in morals than health. But taking into account this new goal, I suppose it's now just as much health as it is morals, ha ha.

Unfortunately, vegetarianism doesn't really encompass the sugary and fatty bits of food, so I'll have to fight the urge to grab a sugary snack every now and then.

Ramblings aside, I wanted a convenient place to share and document my progress throughout the next few months, and this forum feels like a pretty great place to start.

So, as of today, August 16, 2010, I am 202 lbs., 5'10, and looking forward to a much skinnier me. :)

Didn't eat much today. I had some pizza for dinner, but I was forced to skip breakfast and lunch because of a violin recital that I didn't have enough foresight to plan around.

No exercise today, either, although I was already planning to take it easy today, so no loss there, I suppose.

Not a very good day, in hindsight.

Went for a jog yesterday, averaged a mile before I stopped.

Didn't eat much yesterday, either. Had a light breakfast, salad for lunch and had to skip dinner.

Did some resistance training today, ate a light breakfast and lunch. Dinner in a few hours.

Not a bad two days.

Hiya VIT!

Good luck on your journey.

Please let us know what you are eating...I'm curious as to what meals you eat as a veganintraining :).

Have a great day!

Hi! Try not to skip meals if you can, it just makes your body go into starvation mode, and then it wants to hold onto everything it gets.

Good luck with the veganism. I thought about doing it once, but it was very hard, and I work on some farms where I know where and how my food is being raised, so I just go for local food.

Keep up the good work! :)

I just had to stop in and say hello! I'am all too excited to see that there is another vegan on the boards! Also wanted to wish you the best of luck and if you have any question or need any help converting over to veganisum, I'd be more then happy to help.
