here goes nothing

Hello wanted to drop a line and introduce myself. My name is mongo as you can see :) anyway I am a mid 30s male father of 2. I spend my life working for them and some place along the way my lean 168lb athlete became a tired sick 300lb fat guy. I like to try and convince myself that there a 12 billion reasons for this. Like a horrid diet, lack of exercise, I have been working the nigth shift for 14 years < yes im a day sleeper and a bad one at that > I have a ton more .. but I guess i can save them for another post. In the end the real blame rest on my shoulders, I let my physical problems and the stress of my daily life beat me. I give in to the need to eat for no reason at all, or to have a beer and wings during the game, mabey when i was 20 and working out 7 days a week that was ok .. but now im old and my biggest workout is draggin myself out of bed in the afternoon.

All that being said the time has come to stop making excuses and start getting my life < not just my wgt > back in order. The reason I joined this forum is to have other people besides my wife < she is to easy :) > to bounce things off of .. or just rant at when its been a tuff day or mabey talk me off the ledge that is the taco bell drive through. Im still testing the waters here but I hope to have some kind of story to tell when this is over with!

consistency and a little bit of effort are what are needed...

and you will get to where you want to be...
