...help

K so I am 26 and I haven’t been inside a gym in two years and even then I wasn’t very serious about it. My doctor yelled at me last week and told me I really need to start exercising :( and with my recent high cholesterol measurement I decided to take it seriously. BUT I AM REALLY OUT OF SHAPE

I did 30 pushups and 50 crunches last night, had to take a 10 second break after 15 pushups but the thing is that I woke up with a good amount of muscle pain today and I doubt I can even do 10 pushups with that now. I desired to work on muscles that didn’t hurt, so jumping jacks! and I was out of breath in two minutes. After catching my breath I decided I should commandeer my neighbors stationary bike, kos he never uses it and again completely out of breath in five minutes and I know there will be pain tomorrow.

There is a vast amount of information on the internet of how to have a proper workout but I couldn’t find anything that helps you get over this initial hurdle. HELP ME!!! lol

Don’t smoke, rarely drink, don’t do drugs, and have a diet packed with protein and apparently cholesterol lol.
