Help With My New Diet

hi guys im pllanning a new diet for myself one that will give me

38 g of fat

170 g protein

310 g carbs

a day. now i got these number becuase my maintanence calories is 2825 calories/day Fat Loss:2260 calories/day so im going with 2260 calories/day

then since i wanted 55% carbs i did .55X2260=1243 calories from carbs/4 which is 310 g carbs

Then 30 % protein which is .30X2260=678 calories from protein/4 which is 170 g protein

Then 15% fat wich is .15X2260= 339 calories from fat/9 which is 38 g of fat

now my question is are all calories made fomr carbs fast or protein? i mean im going to read the nutritional facts of one pop tart. it goes like this

200 calories
total fat 6g .......9%
saturated fat 1g...5%
sodium 200mg.....8%
total carbohydrates 36G......12%
dietar fiber 1G
sugars 18G
protein 3G

so how can 6g of fat and 36g carbs and 3g protein make up 200 calories? can someone explain it to me because im confused. how am i supposed to get 22602 calories with 38 g of fat 170 g protein 310 g carbs

3 grams of protein times 4 calories per gram = 12

36 grams of carbs times 4 calories per gram = 144

6 grams of fat times 9 calories per gram = 54

12 + 144 + 54 = 210

they break the fats down b/w saturated, unsaturated and polyunsaturated and they break the carbs down b/w sugar and fiber

arlright thanks alot abear your always helping out. also what types of carbs are better? i mean i know fiber is good but are sugars good? or do you have to read the ingredients for what types of sugar?

alot of ppl point to the glycemic index when choosing carb sources but i'm with those who say thats not really a good idea. too many factors involved plus its said that the american diabetic association does not even recognize it

go with natural vs refined. good carb sources include oats, veggies, fruits, beans, whole wheat products, brown rice, potatoes etc

:)
