Help w/starting threads

I would like to start a thread regarding a question I have and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do it in any other section than this one...is there something I am missing? :banghead:

Here is the thing (and I do realize I seem incredibly stupid for even asking but...) when I go to another forum, there is no link to start a new thread (unless I am completely misunderstanding how this works)...

When I posted in here there was an orange button on the top left that said 'new thread'. When I go to the help forum, there is no such button. There isn't one anywhere else for that matter...is it me???

Thanks for your continuing help w/this...it is it me, tell me, I can take it :)
 
under the help section - maybe i am misunderstanding how this whole thing works? I thought that you go to the section you want (in my case, 'help') and start a thread within that section...

Ah Help is one of the searchable Tags -it's not an actual forum - it's sometehing to search on - it should have a returned a topic that had HELP as a tag - that should be helpful...
