In the past year, I have lost over 50 pounds. my stomach is flat as a board. I am pleased with the size that I am now and the amount of weight loss I have achieved. I am not happy with the lower half of my body. although I have managed to go from a size 14 to a size 6, my butt is still not the shape I want it to be. it has gotten smaller, but it is very saggy and full of fat.
I eat a very low amount of calories and go to the gym as often as I can, but I'm not someone who has worked out before so I have no idea what I am doing. I started doing leg/butt exercises about 3 months ago on top of my usual cardio, but I feel like nothing has changed in the past year besides by boobs shrinking and my stomach fat evaporating.
Any suggestions on how I can get a firmer, un-saggy butt, and lose these "saddlebags" that just won't seem to go away? I am basically skin andbones now except for my butt region. I do not want to lose any more weight, so this is frustrating. I don't know what I am doing wrong.
I am a 27yr old female.
I am now 132lbs
5'8" tall
I am not sure of my body fat %, but I am guessing it is relatively low. The only place I can really "grab" any fat on my body is my butt and thighs.
I have lower back pain so there are some things that I cannot do/machines I don't use because they hurt my back. I go to the gym about 3x a week and go about 30min of cardio heartrate 160, and then use some of the leg and thigh/glutes machines. sometimes i'll do more.
I have a pretty poor diet right now due to the medications I take. They take away my appetite so I can't eat without throwing up until almost 4 or 5pm usually. I will try to at least eat a yogurt or something in the early afternoon if I can, but sometimes I get so busy I forget. I drink a lot of smoothies and eat a lot of sugary foods because I can't really stomach much else, but I'd say I only consume about 1,000 calories a day. I am trying to work on it, but it's hard. I am trying to at least improve the types of food I eat and cut out processed sugar.
