Hello All,

Wonder of anyone could help... I am a 23 year old female who plays Football and trends the gym regularly. I currently weight 12stone, but would like to loose 1stone in weight. As much physical activity as I do, I don't seem to loose anything! Anyone got any advice?

Additionally any help of nutrition would be much appreciated. I am an extremely fussy eater & don't like fruit. Really like pasta, chicken etc. could anyone help me by giving me some nutritional advice also.

Thank you in anticipation of your reply,

Becks

Basically - I suggest that you limit your quantity of pasta on your plate to about the shape of a fist and make it the brown wholemeal variety if possible... When you cook your chicken - use fry light rather than oil or other fat - and remove the skin...
Fill up with vegetables and check the calorie content of sauces... there can be quite a big variation in sauces that you use and some are very high in calories.

I'd start running every few days. You've got a few months and you can easily get rid of 10 pounds. So you don't have to run everyday but try to get in that extra exercise. I'd also try to cut down a few sweets. It isn't hard to resist a craving when you eat something else I promise you.

Because you already go to the gym regularly and plays football I think that is a good exercise fits to your age. To see good results if you really loose weight is not to eat pasta, chicken and any foods that's has more fats.

What is wrong with chicken? You can't get much healthier than that. You sound more and more as if you really have no idea what you are talking about.

The key here is the amount of calories you take in per day. Omega mentioned good ways to reduce your intake without making substantial changes to your diet.

Burn More Calories than You Consume
The only way to lose weight is by burning more calories than you eat. You need to work out how many calories your body needs throughout the day and how much you eat from your meals. This requires some calculations and tracking but is worth it to see the weight loss. Once you lose weight, you can increase your calories slightly so you burn about the same as you eat.
