help needed

hiya all am new here so am unsure what am doing with dieting.
on my 1st week on my diet i lost 12 pounds but on my 2nd week
i done nothing really different this week bar run more
so i cant understand why not lost any weight
i feel real low
 
You should really read the stickies.

What are your stats?

Losing 12 lbs in one week is a surefire sign that you were overdoing it and/or under-consuming calories.

Also, keep in mind even when you have things structured properly, weight loss is not a linear phenomenon. Weight is comprised of many different variables, not just fat, which tend to cloud the water of what's really happening.

That's why basing progress/success off of primarily weight is futile.
 
1% of total weight per week is a decent goal.

You did 4x that in week 1.

You overdid it.

Now your body is resisting.

I'd rethink your plan.
 
Look, you see what's happening here. You have a ton of voids in your knowledge of the basic fundamentals of dieting. I don't blame you either. There's a ton of misinformation out there that misleads people. That said, however, the stickies here on this forum and on the link I gave you will do you a ton of good regarding the basics.

Dietary fat doesn't make you fat.
