Help needed please!

Hello guys, here is my story...but before I start let me just say I need help!!!

I am an 18 year old student, who doesn't do much except study, sit at home playing video games, and watch TV, but now I am 300 pounds.

--I am 6 foot
--300 pounds
--Largely built (and have been told I am "big boned" which = politely being called fat!)

I am athletic for my size and very flexible, but I just want to be slim. I have tried to stop eating and just drink water, I lose a few pounds, but whenever I eat the pounds come back. I am hoping people here can help me.

Well the first problem is "not eating." By "not eating" all you're doing is making your body go into starvation mode; this means that your body will grab onto any and all energy until it feels that energy balance is back to the norm again.

What you should do instead, is simple:
1) Find your bmr. Subtract 300 from it to get your weight lost cal.
2) Eat right. No fast food, no soda, no "health bars," just plain food that is good for your body.
3) Exercise. Do cardio at least 3 times a week. If you want more, do weights + cardio on the off days from regular cardio.

I really can't say much about diet (since I'm pretty much a beginner on it too but I think I got it down now with a pretty good schedule). Exercise, I think I can help if you want some tips.

I think you will find that doing resistance training has much better results than doing cardio for fat loss...if you have to choose that is. Personally, I would recommend both. Start out slow to stay motivated.
Up your meal frequency to 6 smart meals a day. Do, not starve yourself. You should calculate how many calories you need, and keep yourself in a SMALL calorie deficit while training. This is the only healthy way to lose weight and keep it off.

basicly its cals in versus cals out there are 3 ways to do it
1) eat less cals so you are on a defecit
2) do more exercise and make a defecit of cals that way
3) do both
