Help Needed For Weight Lost

Hi,

Im 13 years old, 5ft 3'', i weigh 180 pounds and would like some advice on how to lose weight, ive already started eating healthy and doing cardio.

Whats the most healthiest and the most amount of weight i should lose?

Hi. I think the reason you got no replies is that the answer is complicated. You are still growing so dieting and working out are important but also things you should go over in person with a personal trainer or doctor. As a very general suggestion, you should work out about 45 minutes per day and try to lose between 2-3 pounds (but no more than that) per week by eating 3 healthy well-rounded meals and only fruit as snacks.

i would suggest you to go and play and carry out different activites such as swimming and dancing and cycling... dont put too much stress on your mind... it will increase the weight more instead of reducing.. stress is also a reason behind weight gain.. so relax.. and enjoy your teenage...
 
Hey man, to echo what everyone has been saying I'd suggest just keep doing what you're doing. Definitely don't go to an extreme diet as that will slow your metabolism, just keep eating a healthy diet with maybe a few jogs in there and it'll come in time. Keep in mind you're probably going to hit/are in a growth spurt, so you're body wants that extra energy to make you grow. Odds are good you'll start shooting upwards, when I was 13 I was just a tad taller than you and around the same weight, but I grew into the weight fairly well through my first couple years of high school so don't worry about it too much. Patience is a hard thing to have, but this situation requires some. Keep up the exercise and diet and you'll see in a couple months you'll be in a lot better shape. Best of luck, man!
