Hi Guys,
I'm a 20 year old male with a height of 6.2 and a weight of about 220 pounds. This week (since Monday) I've decided I really want to lose weight as I'm pretty pudgy at the moment, which is not a good look in all honesty. I've been running everyday for 30 minutes and intend to keep doing that, but today I'm resting as my muscles really hurt. I've nealry cut out all chocolate and junk food and I'm only drinking water, orange juice with water(50/50), and tea.
I probably take in about 1400 calories a day and I eat allot of fruit, mainly tomato's and mango's. Is this OK? Could someone please give me a plan of action? Basically I want to know how many pounds I should lool to loose overall and how many pounds I should aim to loose a week. I want to eventually be pretty trim and maintain a good weight, and I just don't care how much hard work it takes. I'm really motivated and dedicated

Thanks guys.

I think you probably need to increase the amount of calories you eat. Also.. on days when your muscles are sore switch to walking.
As far as weight goes.. you should look at calorie calculators and ideal weight for yourself online.
Also... and this is very important. Make sure you have a good, quality pair of running shoes.

I walk everyday for at least 20 minutes. How many calories should I look to eat in a day?

EDIT:
Just checked online. I should be looking to eat around 2200 a day.
