Help me on my Online Insurance...

hi!

im new here, im looking for advices on where to find good insurance, i came into has anyone tried online insurance? how effective is the online quote system? can i depend my money on these? I'm hoping I can get opinions from everybody here about which ones to avoid and which ones you have had a good experience with.

Anyone please. I want an affordable insurance yet reliable...

Any insurance quote you get on line is just a guess. Every company will want to get a physical and lab work done as well as look at your medical history before they tell you how much your insurance will cost.

If you want life insurance you must do the following.

Start with term life.

Find out how much you need. Now do you have kids and how old are they. How much debt do you have?

A rule of thumb is that you should have $150,000 in insurance for every $1000 in gross monthly income that you earn. Why? $150K invested at 5% will generate $1000 of income a month for 20 years. If you earn $5000 per month you should have at least $750 K in insurance to replace your income for your family.

You can add enough to pay off your mortgage to that as well and then you can be assured that if something happened to you that your family will be O.K.

You should also make sure your insurance policy has a conversion option so you can if needed convert to a permanent plan like Indexed Universal Life

Your best bet is to find a local independent agent who can offer policies from many companies. Some of the better companies are AIG, Banner, West Coast Life.
