help losing chest fat asap

hey all
i am 14 years old and am pretty fat for my age, I have man boobs and weigh around 185 lbs. ive been like this since around 6th grade, not teh 185 lbs though. I have been having this for quite a long time, and i really want to get rid of it.

i have not been exercising because i dont know what kind of exercise to do.
I think that if it was gynecomastia, it would have gone away by now

right now my options are
surgery- to get rid of fat easily
fat burning pills/good diet/exercise

i really want to burn off these fat and man boobs quickly, as i really dont want to remain like this
my friend recommended Zantrex 3 and a good steady workout every day. Also, a good diet

he is 18, so i dont know if i can trust him. i am going to ask here, and to my doctor, what i should do

please give me some suggestions to burn fat or direct me in teh way of Fat burning supplements. i dont want anything harmful, as i hear heart attacks, and death are caused by some of these products. something safe

i think it may be my metabolism as well, i never seem to burn any fat

could you recommend me a good diet that tastes decent and cane help me burn fat sort of easily. ive also been taking green tea, without exercise, hasnt helped, i dont think

should i just stop eating for a while? or not healthy?

What your asking for is a lot, for us to sit and write you a book attapted to your needs.

If you want to loose the boobs then do some reading.
read the body buiding FAQ top to bottom and the weight loss FAQ.

Dont buy drugs, they are gimics and dont work. Spend your money on some health magazines or a good weight loss book.

Go to amazon and get a 2nd hand book on diet and fitness.

1 - you cant spot reduce fat, you have to reduce the total fat all over your body.
2 - you cant control your weight thru diet alone, you gotta exercise.

find an exercise/s that you enjoy and do 15-20mins every single day. dont think that it will help you to do a slow 1hr of exercise twice a week cos it wont. EVERY DAY!!!!
 
I was in the same situation you were man (215lbs.), and if there is one thing I found out, it is that the idea of "dieting" your weight off is crap. Diets did nothing for me; I feel like I wasted so much frickin' time on them. Now, a good diet isn't a bad idea in loosing weight, but it is definetely not the key factor.

What I did was eat like I normally did, except 2 changes. Two small changes - switch your soda to diet (diet Mug Rootbeer, trust me on this one) and no fast food.

Get on a treadmill and jog until you're gasping for breath, then walk, then jog more, then walk some more. When 30 minutes go by, get off the treadmill. Do this every day, and you WILL lose weight.

Loosing weight to me is 90% exercise and 10% diet (and mostly diet is just common sense).

Now, you're gonna think that running is lame (and sometimes it is), but entertain yourself with some music, tv, or whatever while doing it. The more you do it, the more you will get hooked and then come to depend on it.
 
My older brother works out when he gets a chance, he told me to take a pill,ZANTREX 3, (which I trusted him and didn't bother to see what it was, I was so dumb) well it made me feel like I was wired or something I hated the feeling it's horrible plus when you get off the pills you gain the weight back really fast. The best thing is to change your life style not diet, change your eating habits, do some research don't stop eating you need to eat to keep your metabolism going, sure you can starve yourself lose weight but you would feel so weak, and your body will not be or look healthy, you are so young join a sport or track do something you enjoy if you think you wont enjoy it try it anyways you never know. Try to work out at least 3x's a week. The main thing is your diet. Read around you and you will find alot of info that you need. Good luck- Remember everything takes time and at the end it is worth it.

You need to MOVE! It's that simple. When you get off from school, don't stop moving until dinner. you also need to eat well, no sugar!! Eat veggies, whole grains, and clean protein every day. When you want to sit down and play video games, think about all the chicks you want to be pulling in high school-then go run around like a animal.

P.s. DO NOT STOP EATING- it will make your situation soooooooo much harder to recover from! your body will break down your very precious muscle for energy. If you starve your body, it can't do things efficiently, including fat burning. EAT WELL AND MOVE!!!

I know it's hard when you're young, but be patient, it will take plenty of time. Also, if you want it to be perminent, you need to change your lifestyle or you'll be right back where you started.

Fun things to do to loose weight:

Paintball: Lots of climbing, crawling, running and rolling. The movements will all be explosive and very erratic. Your muscles will never adapt themselves to anyone movement because it will be constantly changing. The protective gear, combined with the rigorous exercise and adrenaline make for a great workout. Just remember, stay HYDRATED and SAFE!!!

A cheaper alternative to paintball would be airsoft, though I didn’t get the same adrenaline rush.

Swimming: if you have clean river by you, take a swim in the river. You only have to options, fight the current or swim down river and walk back up (both of which are awesome). Make sure you have a partner with you. Never ever swim alone.

Football, soccer, lacrosse, rugby... These are by far the most fun sports to play and all great workouts. I wouldn’t recommend a league (yet), because generally they become more violent. BE SAFE... these are all potentially painful sports. And you never know you could become a certifiable bad ass at one.

If it is to cold outside, you can take wrestling or boxing lessons... even a little bit of racquetball. Just don’t get in to the mindset that running is the only way to loose weight.
