HELP, HIIT and usual workout? or HIIT only

Hi All

I’m very new to the idea of HIIT and haven't really found the answers I need so hope some of you can help.

I have been running for some time at the gym (ave 11kph for 30 mins, 3 times a week) and haven't really noticed a great deal of weight coming off as quick as id like, to be honest it seems like I have reached a plateau , but really need to shift another 14 pounds!!

So I was reading online about burning more fat as I still have a bit of a stomach that I really want to shift and discovered the idea of HIIT workouts. But I am unsure how to proceed with a program. Can someone please tell me if I should go to the gym and just do a 10 minute HIIT session and then consider my one of my 3 daily work outs done, or do I do it as well as my usual 5k run/cycle or in the in between days etc??? I really don't have a clue as you can tell so would appreciate and advise...

Also does anyone know of a good site that shows some type of HIIT training schedule or program I could follow as I’m very keen to get going with this as soon as possible.

I am following a healthy diet and am capable of following a HIIT program so only need advise on this and not the nutrition or health side of things.

Crossfit.com is a HIIT like routine, although I wouldn't it strictly that or not. It uses similar principles and will challenge the heck out of you. Give it a look, and make sure you read the FAQ's before asking questions.
