HELP!! Help me dust off the skills

I got my black belt in Tae Kwon Do from Master Cho when I was 10, looking back on it I really don't think I deserved it, especially watching ultimate fighter. I don't really remember those days, but I can assume that my form was sloppy and loose. When I was 14 my dad enrolled me in a summer tae kwon do class through his new master, Master Hong, being a little older now I came to really appreciate everything my master has taught me. I stuck with it until I graduated high school, only really going up to 1st degree with an extra star. I worked my ass off after I re-enrolled, it was great days. A demanding girlfriend and 40+ hour work week made it hard to keep up with everything. Now I'm in college (a 2 year lapse from high school to college, but never the less), I've wanted to get back in the swing of things, I am going to be taking a Karate class and plan to take more class once I'm able. I want to walk into the class and be at least a step ahead of everyone plus I think they have sparring every other saturday (I love sparring, none of the points **** either, just go till you can't go anymore) but from where I use to be until now, I think i've lost ground. I've leaned out and gained muscle mass, but I feel slower and weaker.

I try to run 3-4 miles every other day, go a couple rounds on the bag the days I don't run, I try to do sit-ups everyday and the same for push-ups. I do pull-ups when I can, its hard not being able to do them on anything round like a bar (i use a tree that has a branch that isn't exactly straight). I can run a 6 min. mile. I have trouble keeping my focus for long periods of time, I love competition and there is no one to compete agaisnt, so I lose ambition.

Sorry about all of the back story, but can someone either help me gain focus and keep me going and/or give me a workout regime that will amp me up. (I want to try to stay away from a workout with weights because I don't have access to a gym and don't have any money).

THANKS!!

Couple of bodyweight sites:

I do pull ups off my front porch rather than a tree. Alternatives to weights which would be really cheap (like as in under $10) would be to get a dufflebag and fill it with sand. You'll have a shifting weight that you can use for carrying, squating, pressing, etc.

If you arent in good shape and haven't lifted weights before it is highly recomended that you do a lot of body weight exercises

bodyweight exercises strengthen the ligaments and joints thereby allowing your body to take hard impact as well as readying the muscles for more grueling exercises.

the besty way to improve your kicks is to strengthen the speed muscles ie the glutes, obliques and abductor muscles

to train them try raising your legs side ways from the standing position (not lowering them below 1 feet from the ground

you can try them forwards and backwards for 10 reps each side

hope you find it usefull

:)
