I'm new to the forums, have been lurking a bit, and decided to join. What I like about this site, is it has something for everyone.
I enjoy a lot of different sports, and also have been weight lifting for three years. I just set up a journal here (essgirl's journal, I know, very creative
) so please feel free to drop in, offer advice, comments, feedback. I plan to log my workouts, and they will usually be with a focus on weight lifting, although I've been a runner and cyclist for a number of years.
I have been playing around with the idea of running a 1/2 marathon next year, have done a few short races, but nothing that ambitious. I'd have to find a good balance with my lifting if I were to choose that, because I'd have to really up my running game.
