hello

Hi everyone Im new to this site and am looking for any help i can get. I am wondering if someone can tell me what ratio of cardio vs circuit training I should be doing to lose weight and tone up. I am 190lbs pound and 5 foot 6. I started working out at the gym last week and loooove it! I have gone every day but one so far and am usually there for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Right now I am doing about 40mins to an hour of cardio and the rest im doing the circuit and stretching. How often should I be doing the circuit?

I have lots of questions to ask but will find other forums to ask in as well.

Losing the weight

What has worked for me is focusing on cardio one day and weight training the next. Your body needs a little time to recoup so alternating gives the body some time. Also retraining your body by eating smaller meals every couple of hours allows your body to burn fat at a higher rate as it knows it's not going into starvation mode and saving it as fat. As always plenty of water. Hope this will help on your fitness journey.
