Hello :)

Hi there,
I have been lifting weights since I was 16. But due to schooling, college and now work, its been an on-off affair.
3 weeks ago, I started training seriously. I blog my exercise and supplementation routine at
My goals are to gain muscle and lose fat around my waist. Its not too much fat, but my stomach protrudes outwards as if I'm 3 months pregnant. So I've started keeping tabs on my posture as well. I pull the stomach in whenever possible. Thing is, I am now 29 and when I was younger, I never needed to consciously pull my tummy in. It used to be flat. I don't recall when exactly it started to protrude outwards :(
Now that I've been training with weights, I am thinking of starting out running/cycling to make the fat disappear.
I also take Nature's Best Zero-Carb IsoPure WPI. I have 1 scoop with breakfast and 2 scoops immediately after workout.
Visit to see my equipment since I don't go to any gym yet. Planning to join Golds Gym in my locality.
Hoping to hearing from ya'all in the forums.
Oh and I also used to do martial arts (am a blue belt in Combat Hapkido). Left it due to time constraints.

If your wanting to lose your stomach then id just cut, im not sure if its possible to lose fat and gain muscle at the same time, is it?

Well, from what I've read, its kinda difficult to lose fat and gain muscle at the same time. But I guess HIIT is one way of losing fat without sacrificing "too much" muscle :)
Guess I'm just gonna have to experiment.
