Hey everyone, I have some doubts.

I am 22, 5 feet 8 inches tall. I lost about 30 Kilos - came down from 120 Kilos to around 90 Kilos by following a strict diet and regular walking( 60 minutes on the treadmill 6-6.4 Km/h twice a day! ) in about 6 months but, with very little or no weight training. My waistline has come down to 38 inches from 51 inches. However, I did not have sufficient protein intake during that major weight loss and now, I have got lots of loose skin( loss of muscle ) or still have enough fat maybe?

Now, since I want to slim down further, I went to a renowned dietitian a couple of days back who has put me on a weight loss diet and I was advised to walk for 45-60 minutes a day all 7 days a week. I have a sets of 3,5 Kg dumb-bells at home and also a barbell with 5 Kg weights on either sides. Should I do some basic weight lifting along with my treadmill(at home) workout? The problem is, I don't have sufficient strength to lift very heavy weights. My hands start shivering!

My target weight is 70 Kilos and I plan to reach that in say 5-6 months at an average of 3.5 Kilos a month.

I also want to get my waistline down further plus want to lose more fat around my thighs. Will that happen as my weight goes down further and I reach my target weight?

Btw, I have no medical conditions.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

there are many ways to lose or gain weight. Eat fine food which does not mean to eat high fat food but that which contains fine amount of nutrients which helps in losing weight and keeping a person healthy as well. You should know the amount of nutrients present in the food he/she is taking in so that they can get an idea of its effects. Apart from all the workouts, food is the basic factor that affects weight.
