Hello everyone. I've decided to join to help keep my motivation up and find a few people to share my experience with. I stalked a few of the diaries before I joined and found some really positive, inspiring stuff so am stoked to get involved. My weight has been up and down by about 40lbs in the last two years - it's something that I've always felt has shredded my confidence and now I'm taking the steps to make it right, permanently.
I'm 6'2 and started my weight loss journey properly 12 days ago on April 2nd, 2013 weighing in at 135kg (297lbs). Having weighed myself a few minutes ago I am now at 130kg (286lbs) which means that collectively so far I've lost 11lbs. That seems really fast. I weighed myself like 5 times to make sure I wasn't imagining it. But I'm doing a lot of exercise and have been eating as healthily as I possibly can. The change is noticeable on my face and legs (?!) already.
My long term goal is 210lbs. I'm a tall, broad dude and my goal isn't to get skinny, but healthy.
I'm feeling really inspired to make a permanent change and am excited for the future!
