I'm a student from England :) I've never really used a forum like this before but I thought I'd give it a try!

I don't want to lose a drastic amount of weight really, just tone up and keep motivated for summer this year. I'm looking to lose probably about a stone and get a flat tummy. I'm hoping I can meet people in a similar position who can keep me on track!

I used to go running every other day but due to family issues I kind of fell out of the habit and have lost a fair bit of confidence with my body since then!

Don't really know what else to say, so hello :D
 
Welcome to the forum.

I'm sure that with healthy eating and exercise - you will lose the stone that you want to lose. Fourteen pounds can be lost comparatively quickly and the exercise should tone you up nicely.

Maybe your university has a gym that you could use or classes that you can join.

I know that the university near to me has a zumba society and a latin and ballroom dance society (I was chatting to some of the dancers last night) so there may be all sorts of exercise options available to you through your university. Such pursuits may not only provide a fun form of exercise but also improve your social life and help you feel good about your body.

I happen to be of the opinion - that be we big or small (or anywhere in between) we all deserve to feel good about our body just as it is - even if we can see areas that we would ideally like to change.
