After following this forum for a little while and noticing how helpful people are. I realized that I could get some of my many questions answered here and other than that a lot of helpful tips. :) So i decided to use this helpful resource.
So, here is my story. I am almost 20 and in my second year of college and I have gained some huge amounts of weight. In high school I played multiple sports and also in my senior year began hitting the gym on a regular basis just to look and feel a little better. All things were going great until I graduated. I chose my college and realized I wouldn't live at home. So I proceeded to move out and begin my first year of college away from home, now due to not knowing how to really cook or having time i gained weight fast. Now in my second year I am 5'8" and weigh about 220 pounds (100kgs!). It's time for a change, I have gotten back to the gym as of two weeks ago and am making slow progress I quit fast foods and soda. I don't really know what to eat though and don't want to starve myself so i have been really only eating veggies and fruits but just this isn't enough.
Any tips would be great, I'll try and make this work:)
don't really know how to go about this but im sure as long as I cut fast-foods and such empty calories it should be an ok start.

One thing that is often overlooked, but has been so helpful for me is drinking plenty of plain water. It was explained to me that drinking 3 liters of water can increase your metabolism by as much as 30%. Also, try to find short simple exercises that you can repeat throughout the day, which don't take a lot of prep time or clean up afterward. I chose push ups. I try to do 25-60, 2-3x a day. Just when I have time. I started with doing 20 against the counter, because regular ones were too hard for me. Also, I recommend getting some type of eating system to,help with your weight loss. There are many out there. I chose Isagenix for me. It was helpful, I can stick with it, and it allows me to benefit from sharing my success with others. Skinnyman.isagenix.com. But it is not the only one out there. Find the one that is right for you. Good luck with your pursuit of your ideal weight.

Honestly though eating is my biggest concern I am horrible haha don't really know how to balance my diet haha but i'm studying that too:))
