Hello everyone! My name is Emily and I'm 20 years old. I live in Ohio and am currently attending Tri-C Community College. About two years ago I was 92 lbs and I'd like to get close to there again. I was very thin and didn't have fat on me whatsoever. I ate plenty..I just had a high metabolism because I walked EVERYWHERE!

So I recently started walking 5 miles a day with my mom (11,000 steps a day), and I've been losing weight steadily. I was 112 lbs about two months ago and now I'm 103. I've been watching what I eat more often and have incorporated more fruit and whole grains in my diet. Walking isn't very strenuous like other work outs. I don't groan every time I have to go walk every day. I actually LIKE doing it. It's stress relieving and a very natural healthy way to slowly lose weight. It's the beginning of March as of now, and I hope about mid-july or august I'll be exactly where I want. :)

I enjoy walking as well, though I don't get to do as much "real" walking as I'd like and do most of it on the treadmill. But spring is coming and I'm really looking forward to some family walks!
