Shrinking Rae

Hello, I am new to this forum and just wanted to say a few words of introduction.
I am 35 and started going to the gym and working with a trainer on 1/1/07, I started at 24 Fitness. This year to date I have lost 54 lbs. I am rather excited about how much I have lost but am worried how I feel once I hit that plateau everyone keeps warning me about. A couple of people at the gym have commented that I am doing a good job and they are proud of me. These are total strangers!
I only get on the scale once a month at this time, I don't know if I could do it more often. I do work out daily about 70 minutes on the elliptical with some core work too. I do circuit training in addition about 4 days a week.
Well as you can see I like to talk or type. I get more excited about my friend's weight loss than my own. It still doesn't feel real.
