I'm about a week new...hope I'm posting my hello in the right place.
I'm 32, live in S cal and just had a baby girl 6 weeks ago. I guess you can see my weight story on my ticker. I am breastfeeding exclusively and that is going well, we were just at the pediatrician yesterday and she is up from her birthweight of 9 lb 2 oz to 13 lb 4 oz. So I'm starting to really try and drop a few pounds...I was 170 when I found out I was pregnant, 30 lb overweight already. I quit smoking (yay!) and had to quit my very physical job (boo!) and started packing on the weight.
I started a 1800-2000 calorie a day diet a few days ago. I walk 30 minutes with a stroller or do a taebo tape 3-4 times a week. I can and should do more. My body is abhorent to me...I can't bear to look at myself. I'm proud of what it can do too though...I brought a new person into the world AND feed her! I wish I could reconcile these feelings. Hope to.
I'm an artist. I like biology, sociology, politics. Music. Books. I love my husband. :)
Glad to be here. My husband is downstairs making baked stuffed shells and breaded chicken...there is french bread lurking down there too. I only saved about 600 calories, so I have to be careful! I feel like a pirrhana on a short leash right now, it smells so good in here. I'm going to do all I can not to throw caution to the wind and mow through that damn pasta like a pitbull. Jeez. Hopefully if I fill most of my plate with a ton of salad I'll be ok. But I do go on!

Glad to meet you. Welcome to WLF. Hey you've already lost 32 pounds, just keep staying positive and don't worry about your naked body, all us mothers have one! I've been here since January and it really got me over the hump of getting started. Great support and information at your finger tips. Hope you like the forum.
