Well I finally made it.
Let me start by saying, my profile name represents my feeling towards food............. Delicious. I have always said that if someone were to take anything away from me don't let it be my food.
I am 5'4" and two weeks ago I went to the Drs office and as the nurse asked me to hop on the scale I realized I was at the same weight as when I weighed in the last time before giving birth to my daughter who is now 11 years old. I could not believe the scale said I was 149 lbs. Prior to becoming pregnant I was a very thin 109 lbs, but again I was only 19 at the time. I am now 31 yrs old and have managed to take off and put on a few lbs during this time. My comfortable weight has always been between 130-136. Looking at 149....... I got scared, so I started to diet using the Weight Watchers method.
I am now at 142, yeah for me!!!!!!!!!!!
The only problem is I have and have always had a lack of interest in working out
. I know I want to do it to look good but I just can't get myself to actually do it. Like my husband says I spend 100% of my time planning how I am going to work-out, how often, and what type of work-out I am going to do but I never get around to doing it.
For me I think it is a lack of support, although my husband supports me and wants me to get to my goal, his support is a little different coming from someone who goes to the gym 5-7 times a week and eats healthy without craving any of the bad foods.
Remember my profile name, it is very hard for me to let my Coke and chips and candy go, and he doesn't understnad me on why it is so hard.
So I have turned to you. Hopefully this well help motivate me and get me through the discouragements I feel about my food, working out and actually get my butt to the gym.
Here goes, let's see how I do..............................
