Disclaimer - I'm really bad at introductions, haha. I never know exactly what to put in here.
I'm 22 years old 5' 5" and recently engaged. Our wedding is in May 2012, and I want to look good in my dress. Plus, I am really needing a lifestyle change, not just a quick diet.
I was always thin when I was younger so I ate whatever I wanted. But come highschool, my fast metabolism that I was graced with, wasn't so fast any more. I went from 120 lbs to 170 lbs. I stayed there until I was about 17 and started playing Dance Dance Revolution and went down to 135 lbs. I kept the weight off for about two years while working in a fast paced environment that required quite a bit of movement. I then got a desk job and that is where the trouble started. I ballooned up to 180 lbs and I am now 200 lbs. I always knew I needed to get in shape but yesterday when I got on that scale and saw that I had hit 200 lbs, that was the last straw. I told myself that I would NEVER hit that weight, and here I am at 200 lbs. I plan on getting back down to my 130 - 135 lbs that I used to be at by about August or September of this year, to have time to buy my dress. These forums always seem to have the best motivation and people...so here I go. = )
Sorry that was so long... = /
Edit: It is going to be a slightly rough start for the first few weeks to do a slight leg injury, but I can at least start dieting and walking on the treadmill for the first few weeks. = )
