Hi there! Although Piney isn't my real name but after years of using it the name got stuck with me.
For my case, three years ago I weighted 110kg, which is way too much weight that I could bear for a little old 1.7m me. My body decides to tell me this by triggering multiple cases of gouts for the coming years... until the second half of last year where I'm free of gout attacks for almost one whole year now. Body checkup also confirmed that my uric acid (main cause for gout) is back to normal level although it's still a bit on the higher side of things, with a healthy level of cholesterol to boot!
I am now 80kg, 30 kgs less than 3 years ago. I know some might say that it's not exactly fast, but I managed to not gain anymore weight with a very low level of exercise because of workload change from the beginning of the year (which seems to be a miracle) although I realize I must go back to my exercise, cause I'm getting very, very rusty.
The funny thing is, I tried dieting but only because of the gout attacks, but seeing that I'm losing weight at the same time, I don't really mind though! Realizing that I need to have friends and company to keep me going (I'm currently the 'lightest' people in my family, and my friends have the body types that refuse to gain weight.)
So... I hope it'll be fun to have everyone around!
