Hello There!! New Member needs your help

Hello everyone, My name is Harsh and i'm from India , I recently starting working out and i have no knowledge of the workouts and rountine and diet etc.. I'm basically Graphic designer , So i keep sitting infront of computer all the time doing my work , My main aim is to loose some fat which i have it on my abs and tone up my muscles a bit ... i'm not into bodybuilding ... but i have no idea how to achieve my goal , I have a instructor ,but hes good for nothing . So, i thought i should post my problem on some forum maybe someone will might help me out.
