Hello, New here.

Hi everyone, this seems like a great forum.

I'm 29 been heavy most of my life but I've been eating less and doing exercise for almost 2 months now. I don't know how much I've lost other than I now need a belt to keep my pants up and generally clothes fit better, and not to mention I FEEL BETTER.

I just got tired of being fat, and I'm very determined right now. I just hope I don't yo-yo the weigh back in the future.

Basically what I'm doing is having some bran flakes for breakfast, I have a decent meal where I eat ANYTHING that I want, of course with moderation, and for dinner it's just fruit. LOTS of water and 20 min of heavy bag hitting + 30 min of walking on the treadmill 6 days a week.

I have eliminated junk food and I can't believe I haven't had a soft drink for 2 months. Now that I have started, I feel like I can do this, the hard part was just getting started, definitely not an easy thing.

OK, looking forward to making new friends and helping out whenever I can.

Hey, Antonio, welcom-we can never have to many people to bounce ideas off of :) No junk food for 2 mo. WOW! :D

Hi Antonio! How r you! Welcome aboard..Im new here too. I don t know if I could do the no junk food for 2 months..but im working on trying to do no sugar.. I might go nuts when i go by the candy ile in the store so watch out! It sounds like you have a great intense workout going on.. Im thinking of trying jump rope and maybe a speed bag in the near future. I do some kick boxing on occassion to spice up my work out and I love it. Good luck and have a great day!

Thanks for all your comments :)

stoptheexcuses, I think the heavy bag hitting (and in your case kick boxing) is a great cardio workout. Not only that, it's fun and you can vent your frustrations and anger beating the thing.

Yes.. and lord knows as an over weight women in a society like ours..I have some things inside of me worth beating out of me...and why not hit a bag... assault and battery is too expensive and i look like crapola in stripes :-D

hehehe... i'm enjoying the conversation about bag hitting and kick boxing... I love to kick box - it just gets out so much pent up frustration and feeling...
