hello new here how are you losing the weight

I am going by the name of smalloneday because thats my goal. i am a mom to 6 kids (stay at home mom) been married for 21 years to the love of my life. I have thyroid problems (which was untreatred and cost me to gain lots of my weight) i need to lose 150 lbs, now here is my question which way to go, what is the best way to go about doing it. I know drink lots of water but how much , i know exercise but what is the best plan.

counting calories
slim fast
atkins
herbalife
weight watchers
grapfruit diet
what else is there and what works

please help if you can , I want to hear everyone appinon.
 
Welcome!! I am so glad you are here! It's nice to have other moms on the forum!

Making small sustainable, maintainable changes towards healthy eating and active living is the way to go. I don't recommend any fad diets/drinks/pills/etc. This is a long but very worthwhile journey. You will learn lots about yourself while dropping the weight. Counting calories and weight watchers are the only things on your list that are good (in my opinion).
Think of this of a change in your lifestyle - your need to not only loose the weight but think about how you are going to keep it off. Welcome to the journey - enjoy the learning!!
