Welcome!! I have found this forum to be very motivational - you have come to the right place!! What are your goals and how are you planning to achieve them? I would love to hear more about you!

Hi Catherine Well the good news is that you have some time. Let's get the basic info here: how tall are you? And if I may ask, how much do you weigh? Is you build large, medium or small? Are you able to exercise, do you have any limitations? What about your diet? Any food allergies? Will you eat most foods? If you answer these questions, I can help design a plan for you. I have been a trainer for 30 years and have mucho ideas on this subject. Looking forward to hearing back from you. Coach Jeannie

You will..of course..not try to sell her your services and do everything here on the board for free right?

I mean..you wouldn't be trying to make money off our members now would you? That would be just wrong (and against the rules)

So, coach..all here on the board right?

EDIT: Oh you are one of those shakeologist scammers. Body for life or whatever that is called. Was it beachbody? anyways..the poster doesn't need your scam, just real food :)

Is the attitude here to think the worst of someone before getting to know them?
I offered help in the areas I've struggled in. Please don't assume something about me and post it in such a mean manner. That's not what this site is all about.

Right, this site isn't about pushing a product of services. As I said, I'm sure you will post everything here out in the open and not try to get the poster to go to your site to buy those awful shakes.

I'm not trying to get anyone here to buy shakes. But why did you have to say "those awful shakes". Why didn't you just say "those shakes"?
I have only been nice here and you're already attacking something in my life that I haven't even mentioned. I see that you're a moderator here and if you don't like the shakes, that's your right, but please don't bash them when other people love them. And I didn't even bring them up. Do you always look at someones profile and attack them if you don't like the product?
I'll abide by all the rules. Please just don't keep attacking me for something I haven't done. That is not fair.
While some people are only in the business for the money, there are others that really do enjoy helping me. I was overweight like most of the country and unless we all help out, we can't end the problem with obesity.
Thank you for your time reading this.

It's a pyramid scheme. It has been discussed and debunked on this site many times. You are far from the first 'beachbody coach' to come here trying to get people to come to you.

To be honest, it was your user name that told me to check on you. most don't put something like 'coach' in their profile unless they are selling something..either to be someone's online fitness coach for a fee or the beachbody scam.

Now, I wonder if you are going to answer that your 'plan' will be placed here for all to see or will you try to go around the rules by PMing the member to go to your site or something like that?

So I'm guilty by association? Everything you've written so far has been very negative about me. Very sarcastic and rude. I have done nothing to deserve it yet you continue to attack. Is that what moderators are taught to do? Why is it better to think the worst of someone instead of waiting to find out who they are? You're judging me without getting to know me. I guess a lot of people are judged that way.

What plan can I give her? She has not answered the questions I've asked. And frankly, why should she? You've questioned my qualifications and accused me of trying to push products in here.
If I were her and read this conversation I wouldn't look for advice. It's really too bad.
If she does come back and answer my questions I'll do the best I can to help her.
I hope it's not the policy for the moderators to be the thought police. Wait until a rule is broken and then act.
I do however thank you for taking the time to read and respond to my posts rather than banning me from this site.

If you feel that I am in the wrong, then I'd love for you to prove me wrong in this. Everything about your profile, username and posts is the same as every beachbody coach that has come here. Prove me wrong by putting all your info out in the open. I'd absolutely will say sorry out in public. When you see this stuff over and over, you get a bit jaded.

I'm also the blunt mod of the group. Some say rude..but those are usually the people breaking the rules or here to make a buck

Thank you. I will help when I can and stay away from soliciting business. It's actually a nice change coming into a place where the people are here to make a change in their lives.

Hey Kathy

Coming here is a great start. Accountability in all forms is the way to go. First set your realistic goal, next take it one day at a time. The journey of 1000 miles begins with a single step. You must record everything you eat on paper or with an on-line food diary. You should also move, fidget, walk, run whenever you can. There is nothing like running for calorie blasting, you burn twice as many calories running than any other activity. Weigh in once per week only, set a daily calorie goal and drink that water! There, ready, set ,go!

hi. i'm new here too. but here goes, set a reasonable plan/goal. generally, healthy weight loss is 1-2lbs per week. there are loads of resources out there for you to be able to design a workable plan. availing the services of a professional always helps because then you know that the plan is science based and not just a fad diet. if you use a diet/meal planning website, make sure the founders are licensed registered dietitians at least, and their credentials/ past work are readily available on the same website for you to freely click on, etc...

i wish you success on this endeavor. hope this helps even just a little.
