Hello I'm new

Hi there. I just signed up for this site today, I've been looking for a community where I can share my triumphs and disappoints with people who have similar goals and until now I've been kind of bearing the brunt myself. I thought this might be a good idea...

So anyway, my name is Amy. I'm 23. I'm 5'11, and I weight 173 pounds. That's down 12 from what I was a few months ago, and my goal is 160. I seem to have kind of hit a wall recently in weight loss and I'm trying to break through it.

I absolutely LOVE exercise. My workout of choice is Les Mills Body Step at the gym and doing TaeBo dvds at home. I guess my main gripe is food. Weekends seem to get out of control and I think sometimes I'm not honest about the little things that I eat during the day. So anyway, I hope to learn alot, share alot, and it's nice to meet you all.
 
welcome to the site - do start yourself a diary -it's a great place to keep track of tose successes an challenges.... plus it affords us the opportunity to get to know you better.

do some reading around the forum -- especially the stickied threads and do ask questions

Doesn't seem you have much to lose at all but regardless we will all help you as best we can with any motivation you might need.
 
Thanks guys! It may not sound like a lot... but when that wall is there, it may as well be 50 or 100 pounds.
 
Hiya i am new today and i am around the same weight as you too, i want to lose more weight than you but i am sure if we stick at it we can get through it :D
 
Welcome to WLF DAngel, I'm sure you'll find these diary's very informative. I think your on the right track by all the exercise your doing. It's real hard to get the food in check on the weekends, I can relate to that 100%, Don't give in, keep on moving forward, you'll reach your goal line in no time. Good luck!
