Hi All,

I've just been browsing around looking for a little support in my weight loss attempts and came across this site.

So far I've been going solo but I'm starting to flounder and need some help. I've been documenting my prgress at so you can go and check it out if you like. Feel free to leave a comment.

Basically, I started off at 118kg and would like to get down into the 90s. I'm at 115kg now and have hit a plataeu. Any help would be appreciated.

Wishing you all luck.

Shed.

p.s. What in the heck is a fried brekkie?????

Fried brekkie is a very bad and evil thing but it tastes like heaven. It's a very english thing. Basically it's sausages, bacon, bread and egg all fried and accompanied with baked beans and some tommy K (ketchup). It's full of calories, full of saturated fat and full of guilt...but it tastes sooooo good.

Thanks for the early words of encouragment.

Welcome from another newbie! One thing that helps me is that I try to set my goals into small (5 lb) increments--it keeps me from being overwhelmed and quitting. I also try to focus on my success and keep going.

Thanks for telling me what a fried brekkie is but was is necessary to make it sound SO GOOD?!! yummy is all I have to say!!:D

Arrrggghhhh it's the breakfast....

Sorry dragonlover. They are scrumptious though. It's friday morning and that means the cafe at work does fried brekkie. I'll be heading down there to have a cup of tea and some toast. Torture but someone has to do it!

Can anyone point me in the direction of some good threads to look at?

MMM the bakery around the corner is baking an apple crumble bread this morning:eek: So don't think I will leave my office anytime soon for fear of getting sucked in the bakery door!!:D Anyways check out the nutrition and recipes threads. The threads under On Topic are really good too. There is great information to be found on this forum if you just spend some time reading both new and old threads! Good luck!!
