Hello! Going back into the military

Hello everyone! I've been out of the military since 2004. I'm 30 lbs overweight and I'm attempting to go for Officer Candidate School. I will start with the Couch-to-5k Running Plan Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, but I must also add a cardio workout on the days I don't run. The purpose is to get to my ideal military weight or body fat % which is a bit tougher for prior enlisted. Any suggestions? I know it's always a good idea to hit you MHR. I want to be ready for another tour in Iraq. Thanks!
