Hi everyone!

I've always been interested in healthy eating, weight maintenance, keeping fit, etc. I'm a foodie, I love my chocolates but I'm not going to gain weight. Or I try not to.. :D

Well I hope to get to know you guys better here and maybe we can help each other out in figuring what is it that we want from our figures?? ;)

Hello Yuliana! Welcome to the boards interesting blog that you have, I'm sure that you could be a great contributor to our discussions :)

Thanks for the comment!
I want my website to be full of interesting and fresh ideas on the topic of healthy living and dieting, to make it more fun for everyone. ;)

hello and welcome! tell us more about urself so we can get to know u better =)

Hi hayley!

Well I'm Indonesian but have been living in Singapore for the past 8 years or so.. 21 years old, college student, height 154cm (how many is that in inches?? haha..), weight as you can see from my ticker..

Though my BMI may be in the normal range, which, by the way, is a little strange. Cos the number in my ticker says my current BMI is 21.4, but when I calculate it with a calculator, it's 23.6 and has always been like that for the past years... (my school PE instructors can't be all wrong.. haha..)

Anyway.. though I'm not really overweight, my ideal weight is still somewhat lower than that.. and since I love all the nice-tasting, well-cooked food, I'm now on a quest to finding delicious, yummy food which is healthy and low in everything bad.. ;)

My fave food includes Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Indonesian, Indian, Korean, Mexican, Italian, German, Greek, Spanish, ermmmm... basically all sorts.. haha.. I like almost everything that I've tried and I definitely LOVE seafood!!

Some of my fave seafood creatures: jellyfish, squid, oyster, abalone, mussels, clams, scallop, topshell, sea cucumber, eel, crab, prawn, shrimp, crayfish, lobster, fish roe (all sorts), and all sorts of fish of course..

I love soups and chocolates.

Cherry tomatoes and seedless grapes, persimmon, apple, mango, rambutans, black cherry, watermelon, pineapple, jackfruit, dragon fruit, mangosteen, avocado, and many other tropical fruits..

Mango juice, cranberry, apple & aloe vera juice.

Green tea, strawberry, mango, jasmine, crysanthemum, lemon, chinese teas, cherry tea... basically all the fruit teas..

Is that enough info about myself? :)

Howdy Neighbor!

Well, ok, not quite neighbors.... But pretty close. I am in South China, specifically Shenzhen. I was looking at your blog, seems pretty cool and I got a kick out of the sweating bit. For those who don't know, (other than us) Singapore is Hot! Hot! HOT! All year long. I am lucky and only have to deal with the stiffling heat 6-8 months out of the year. Luckily for myself I have learned to like sweating! The more I sweat the more I know my body is working!

Keep up the good work with the blog and here on the forum!

From what you said about Japanese food I can see they have very similar eating habits as the Chinese. Hopefully my pounds continue "melting off" too...

Haha hello there Sirant!
So where are you from originally?

Yeah Singapore is HOT all year round... Well I've come to realize it's not really the heat that's the problem, but the HUMIDITY!! I walk a few hundred metres here and I start sweating already.. On the other hand, 38 degrees celcius in Europe and I walked the whole day under the blistering hot sun with very little sweat!!

Hmm Shenzhen is a nice place I heard, lots of growth there isn't it? I'm doing my internship in a hospitality industry and it seems like more and more international hotels are opening up there..

I wanna go to China one of these day! And Japan too (and have a first-hand experience of their fabulous food!) :D

Btw thanks again for the encouraging words!! And yeah hopefully the pounds keep melting off.. haha..
