Hey everyone, I'm not new to trying to lose weight, but new here. I've tried all the diets and learned a lot. A few months ago I started by just changing my eating habits. No fast food. Now I'll have pizza or something once or twice a month, but thats it. Whole grains, lots of fruits and vegies, cut out the processed stuff. Then I cut out the soda and sweet tea, and now I'm working on cardio and strength training. Little changes. No, I haven't lost a ton of weight, but I haven't gained any either.
5lbs a month isn't a lot, but if I keep that up, by this time next year I'll be straight!! Anyway, I have lots of motivators for losing weight, the latest of which is a career change. I've been a stay at home Mom of 3 for 5 years now. This fall I start real estate school, and I'm gonna need all the confidence I can get. I don't want to start a new chapter of my life at this weight. I will go into more detain in my journal within the next couple days. I'll be keeping up with many aspects of my life in the journal, not just weight loss, because I believe it all goes together. If I try to make weight loss a seperate part of my life, it just doesn't work. I working to make it fit. I don't miss sweets and junk food hardly at all anymore, and am more focused on portion sizes. Well, I guess thats a long intro already. Looking forward to getting to know you all!!
