Hello from Canada!

Hey All! I'm a new member here and hope to get some great inspiration and guidance along my training journey. I'm 27 and a recent cancer survivor looking to get back into the gym. I come from a very athletic background, and played many sports at high competition. I fell victim to cigarettes 9 years ago, and given my recent health have gone 6 weeks without and am in the gym 5 days a week. Thanks for reading this post and hope to hear from you soon!

Welcome to the forum friend. Sorry to hear about your struggles, I myself have recently quit smoking. Although I am learning and looking for guidance myself. I hope we are able to inspire and guide each other in some way or another!

Welcome and good luck!

I'm new to the site myself, and it seems there are a lot of new folks right now. Hard to say how many of us will stick with it, but based on limited (1 week) experience, there are lots of friendly people here. Just jump in, ask questions, and respond to other posts if something appeals to you or seems interesting.

Welcome and congrats on being smoke free for 6 weeks and going to the gym! I wish you lots of luck in your recovery!

Welcome to you Cmach! Quitting smoking is like totally major. SUPER JOB!

Do you have goals and stuff you want to do now? Why are you here? Let's go for something eh!

I went to school in Calgary. Also did an Ironman at Lake Louise. Where abouts are you?

Sweat Daily!
