Hi,

I'm new!

Long story short, I'm an experienced person in the many ways of weightloss to put it smartly.

However I have had a roughness in life thats left me weighing 276 pounds.

My goal?

115.

I'm here for help, and to inspire.

This will take time, and I am willing to put the effort into it.

Day 1 begins today.

Not ready to work out yet as I am recovering from a broken bone,

However,

I will get back to that part sometime.

For now its time to get my calories in check!

All about portion control, my friends.

I have been eating whatever whenever given at set times.

But step 1,

What goes in, must come out.

Quid pro quo.

Weight check (you'll see these periodically in my posts; my weight will go up and down based on random weight dates.):

Current: 276Ib of lean mean ready to lose weight protein.

I really,

Really think if I make friends to regulars on this site,

It'll help me.

Well,

Nice to meet you.

Hi Furr, and welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear about your broken bone - I hope you heal quickly - but you're right that under those circumstances portion control is the most important thing for weightloss. Do you count calories, restrict certain foods, or do you have a more visual method?

Hello! I'm also recovering from a bone fracture, meaning I can't run or walk. Nonetheless, I can cycle, swim, and do arm workouts! I would recommend always moving your body, no matter in what form. Best of luck 😃

Hi, Furr & welcome to the forum :)
Lowering calories is definitely the go. Are you using an app to count & weighing your food or are you just generally eating less? I hope you like the forum. There are such genuinely nice, supportive people here. We are very different but have common goals.

Welcome!
