Hey guys my name is Cameron and im new, i need help to lose weight. I've been trying to drop the weight for a few months now. I've been having whey protein shakes and BSc hydroxy burn hardcore clinical tablets. People tell me I've lost weight but the scales don't show it! I've been eating right I believe. I go to gym 4-5 times a week to do weights and cardio at least 1 of those nights. I can build pretty quick but I don't like the look of looking big. Please help

- are the scales not showing it because I'm building muscle and dropping weight at the same time?

- Am I suppose to be a big build or can I choose the way I want to build?

- I'm starting a diet I made that goes for 2 weeks. Will I lose weight if each day is like this;

9:00 am - shake and tablet
10:30 am - banana
12:00 pm - can of tuna and tablet
2:00 pm - banana
3:30 pm - shake
4:30 pm - gym
6:00 pm - dinner (eg. Chicken dishes, pasta, stir frys)

I drink a lot of water during the day as well. When should my biggest meal be for the day?

Please any suggestions would be great full :)

I would have your main meal at lunch time that way you've got a energy store for your gym workout and its always better to eat lighter in the evening to avoid putting on weight.

Welcome to the forum.

I suggest that you count the calories in what you eat and ensure that you are eating at a deficit... Portion size and method of cooking can make an enormous difference in calorie level. I have often eaten chicken / pasta / stir fry dishes that were very high in calories.

I am certainly not a fan of any form of tablet... They are simply not required if we eat healthily at the appropriate calorie level and do a reasonable amount of exercise... I certainly didnt use any when I lost a lot of weight. I know quite a lot of people who have lost weight well in the same way too... All it really takes is a determination not to give up...

As far as your weight loss goes - you may find it useful to take measurements and also maybe use a body fat meter. The fit of clothes also tend to highlight when we burn fat and make muscle at the same time thus cancelling out our weight loss... I know that I am wearing clothes now that I simply could not get into when I weighed the exact same weight five years ago...

I suggest that you read the following thread - it may help you settle in and make friends here

Good luck with your project.
