Good evening!

I am a 23 year old stay at home mother of two beautiful baby boys.

I am 5'7" and weigh 184 pounds. I would love to get back down to the 140 lbs. that I used to be before I had my kids.

The world of dieting is so confusing to me. There are so many versions and methods to dieting and I am having a bit of trouble finding one to choose. Can anyone give me any ideas on what would be a good method for someone trying to lose baby weight?

This forum community for those trying to lose weight is such a wonderful idea. I'm so glad I found it!

Welcome to the forum. :)

There's really no reason to confuse yourself. Any and all diets ride on the foundation of this:

You must be in a caloric deficit.

Every diet out there finds some way to get you in an energy deficient state. It might be through exercise, caloric restriction, macro-nutrient restriction, worship to the Gods, a combo of each.... WHATEVER!

For most around here, it seems simply monitoring calories works best. Have you read the stickie posts yet? If not, I highly suggest reading the stickie titled: Words of Wisdom. There's a lot in there wrt setting up diets.
