Hi, I'm Jan. Your typical 18 yearold college freshman. I was on a pretty good track this summer, I exercised everyday for almost 2 months and watched what I ate. I came to school and found that I didn't have time for exercise and I'm a stress eater. I didn't put on much, just enough to make me uncomfortable with where I'm at. I'm 5'7" and 152 right now,I'd like to get down to about 132 by June. Not only would I like to lose weight I would love to turn my body into an amazingly atheletic machine in the very long run. I'm a dance minor, I haven't danced since April and the next time I'll take a dance class is in June. I basically want to be happy with myself, how can I expect anyone to care for me if I don't care for myself.

Hi Jan! Welcome to WLF! College and working out can be tough, but one thing you have to remember is that you don't HAVE To go to the gym to work out. I don't know about you I was so lazy my freshman year, I'd drive to class (lol). Things like walking as much as you can, which includes taking the steps vs.the elevator. I know... I would've stabbed the person that said that to me back then. :p Also working out in your room/apt. Don't beat yourself up b/c you can't get to the gym. You CAN and you WILL do this. Best of luck to you!

Consider starting a diary so that we can all come by and encourage and support you each day! :)
